Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, from Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard within her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music as a passion rather than a profession. They encouraged her to compose. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. She began performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mom suggested they could help people not be famous with her work but to make those around them see their own importance and how they can affect the world. The piano was her first instrument, at six. She started creating music after turning nine. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she turned 14. Aurora wasn't a dream. Her only passion is writing music. According to her, the songs she creates are the way that she feels anything.
